  4. As of version 1.69-2, this package contains an additional utility that is not
  5. a part of the upstream toshset package.  The utility is toshsat1800-irdasetup.
  6. It was requested by a user and since it is too small to be placed into its own
  7. package, I have included it with toshset.  Please read the README.IrDA for
  8. details on how to use it.

  10. Toshset requires an experimental version of the toshiba_acpi kernel module with
  11. an ACPI-enabled kernel. Otherwise it works only if the laptop supports the old
  12. APM BIOS. (The last of these was produced something like 5 years ago.)

  14. In /usr/share/doc/toshset/toshiba-acpi you can find the experimental version of
  15. the toshiba_acpi kernel module. You can run 'sh install.sh' for compiling and
  16. install the module. (Ubuntu users don't need it)
